BPW Australia National Conference

The BPW Australia National Conference was held in Geelong last weekend, with business owners and professional women from around the nation flying and driving in to meet and network with local guests and BPW members.

From the conference’s Friday night welcome event and Saturday speaker program at The Novotel, to the spectacular Gala Dinner at The Pier on Saturday night, it was a full program for an event that, being held only once every three years, always generates plenty of interest.

The theme of the 2016 conference was “Transforming the Workplace, Creating the future women want” and a key focus of the event was on the promotion of economic wellbeing of women and girls around the world, with BPW Australia becoming the first NGO to be part of the United Nations Global Compact.

Gala Dinner guest speaker, Harcourts CEO and 2013 Telstra Business Woman of the Year, Sadhana Smiles, urged professional women to have a vision for their lives and to think big.
